The plant supplies electricity to the national grid under a Power Purchase Agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority, selling power at 5.08 Rs/kWh during the rainy season and 8.89 Rs/kWh during the dry season. The company holds a licence to generate electricity for 30 years from its commercial operation date of 5 Bhadra 2069 B.S. It was established on 3 Poush 2057 B.S. to develop, construct and operate hydroelectric projects across Nepal.
