Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (NEPSE: CLI) is a life insurance company offering a comprehensive range of insurance products and services across Nepal. Founded in 2007 and licensed to operate in August 2017, the company commenced operations on 19 October 2017. The company offers multiple insurance products including endowment plans, money-back policies, child future plans, whole life policies, and term life insurance. It also provides group insurance solutions covering group term and group endowment plans, as well as specialized products for foreign employment workers. Additional offerings include riders for critical illness, accidental death benefits, permanent disability coverage, and funeral expenses. Citizen Life operates through a network of 135 branches and sub-branches across Nepal, serving 907,056 policyholders with the support of 38,431 insurance agents. The company is promoted by Kantipur Media Group, Shikhar Insurance, and various bankers, industrialists, and professionals. The company was incorporated on 26 June 2007 and is headquartered in Thapathali, Kathmandu, Nepal.
