Green Venture Limited

Green Ventures Limited (NEPSE: GVL) is a hydropower developer and operator in Nepal with a primary focus on run-of-river hydroelectric projects. The company operates the Likhu-IV Hydroelectric Project, a 52.4 MW run-of-river facility located on the Likhu River in the Okhaldhunga and Ramechhap districts. The project, which achieved commercial operation on October 23, 2021, generates approximately 296–315 GWh annually and supplies power to Nepal Electricity Authority under a 30-year power purchase agreement. The company plans to develop the Likhu-4A cascade hydropower project, an additional 12.5 MW facility on the same river, currently in the approval stage with government authorities. Green Ventures is headquartered in Kathmandu and was incorporated on December 7, 2004, converting to a public limited company on February 25, 2019, with listing on Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on April 17, 2022.
