JBLB serves over 328,000 active members through 159 branches strategically distributed across Koshi Province (90 branches), Madhesh Province (48 branches), and Bagmati Province (21 branches). The institution resulted from the consolidation of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited with Solve Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Garibi Nyunikaran Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, commencing integrated operations in September 2020. The company was registered as a public limited company in August 2012 and formally commenced operations in February 2019.
