Jhapa Energy Limited (NEPSE: JHAPA) is a public limited company in Nepal that develops and operates renewable energy projects, primarily solar power. Established on Ashwin 16, 2075 under the Company Act, 2063, its registered office is in Birtamode‑04, Jhapa with a liaison office at Pingalasthan‑08, Kathmandu. The company has built a 10 MW grid‑connected solar power plant at Shivasaktashi‑04, Jhapa, which received its commercial operation date on Magh 10, 2080 and now sells electricity to the Nepal Electricity Authority. The project occupies 21‑11‑9.5 bighas of land, with ownership split between Jhapa Energy Limited and its wholly‑owned subsidiary Jhapa Agro Industry. The licence period is 25 years, making it the largest solar project entirely in Koshi Pradesh.
