Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (NEPSE: MKJC) is a hydroelectric power generation company operating in Nepal. The company develops, constructs, and operates small-to-medium hydropower projects to generate and sell electricity to the national grid. MKJC's primary asset is the Mailung Khola Hydropower Project, a 5 MW run-of-the-river facility located on the Mailung River (a tributary of the Trisuli River) in Rasuwa District. The project commenced commercial operations on July 3, 2014, and operates under a 35-year generation licence issued by the Government of Nepal with a power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority. The facility operates continuously to contribute clean energy to Nepal's national electricity grid. The company was incorporated on July 23, 2002, and converted to a public company on August 22, 2014. It is headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal.
