Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NEPSE: NICL) is a non‑life insurance provider headquartered in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Nepal. The company offers a range of insurance products including motor, property, home, engineering, aviation, agriculture & livestock, marine and cyber policies. It operates through 55 branches nationwide with a workforce of over 300 staff and maintains strong reinsurance backing, notably from Hannover Ruck of Germany. Nepal Insurance was originally established in 1947 AD, later renamed, and was officially registered on 7 November 2008 (2065/07/22 BS). The firm is promoted by Nepal Bank Ltd, which holds a majority stake, and its shares are listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange.
