Palpa Cement Industries Limited (NEPSE: PCIL) is a cement manufacturing company that produces ordinary Portland cement (OPC) and Portland pozzolana cement (PPC) under the brand Tansen Cement. The company operates an integrated cement manufacturing facility in Sunwal, Nawalparasi district, with limestone mines in Rahawas, Palpa district. Tansen Cement is available in 43 and 53 grades for all types of construction applications. The plant utilizes vertical roller mill technology with annual production capacity of 0.59 million metric tonnes of clinker and 0.73 million metric tonnes of cement. Palpa Cement is part of the RMC Group, a prominent business conglomerate in Nepal, and notably was the first company in Nepal to export cement and clinker to India. The company was incorporated in 2009 and is headquartered in Thapathali, Kathmandu, Nepal.
