Rapti Hydro & General Construction Limited (NEPSE: RHGCL) is a Nepalese hydroelectric power company that develops and operates hydropower projects. The company owns and operates the 5 MW Rukum Gad Hydropower Project, a run-of-river facility located in Sisne and Bhume Rural Municipalities of Rukum East District. The project harnesses water from the Rukum Gad river with a design discharge of 8.5 cubic meters per second and a gross head of 75 meters, utilizing two Francis turbines. The facility generates approximately 28.579 GWh annually, with 23.495 GWh during the wet season and 5.084 GWh during the dry season. The company has concluded a Power Purchase Agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority at tiered seasonal rates: Rs 8.40 per unit during the dry season (Poush to Chaitra) and Rs 4.80 per unit during the wet season, with annual increases of 3% over five years. Power generated is evacuated through a 33/11 kV substation at Musikot. The company was incorporated on October 21, 2008 and is headquartered in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal.
