Ridge Line Energy Limited (NEPSE: RLEL) is a Nepal-based renewable energy company specializing in hydropower development and generation. The company develops, finances, constructs, and operates run-of-the-river hydropower projects to generate clean electricity for Nepal's national grid. Ridge Line Energy operates the Super Chepe Hydropower Project (SCHP), a 9.05 MW run-of-the-river facility located on the Chepe River in Ajirkot Rural Municipality, Gorkha district. The project commenced commercial operations in July 2023 and is expected to generate approximately 54.75 GWh of electricity annually under a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority. The company also holds an investment stake in the Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Project, an 11 MW facility. Ridge Line Energy is financed by Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. on a 70:30 loan-to-equity ratio. The company was incorporated in 2017 and is headquartered in Kupondole, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, Nepal.
