Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (NEPSE: RURU) is a hydropower developer and operator based in Nepal. The company develops, constructs, and operates run-of-river hydropower projects. Its primary operational project is the Upper Hugdi Khola Hydropower Project, a 5 MW run-of-river facility located on the Hugdi River in Gulmi district, which generates electricity sold to the Nepal Electricity Authority. The company is actively developing two larger projects: Humla Karnali-1 (235 MW) and Humla Karnali-2 (335 MW), both of which have received survey permits from Nepal's Department of Electricity Development. These projects, if completed as planned, would significantly expand the company's capacity and contribution to Nepal's power generation. The company was incorporated in 2006 and converted to a public limited company in 2015, becoming a public company through listing on the Nepal Stock Exchange in May 2021. It is headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal.
