Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (NEPSE: SALICO) is a Nepalese non‑life insurance provider offering a range of personal and corporate insurance products, including property, motor, marine, engineering, aviation, agriculture and miscellaneous coverages. The company operates through more than 100 branches across Nepal and serves customers via a network of agents and surveyors. SALICO was formed after the merger of Sagarmatha Insurance Company Ltd and Lumbini General Insurance Company Ltd and is registered under the Nepal Insurance Authority. It is the only non‑life insurer in Nepal with foreign investment from Sri Lanka’s Ceylinco Insurance. The firm reported a total paid‑up capital of Rs 2.62 billion across 26,226,382 shares. The company was founded in 2079 BS and is headquartered in Naxal, Kathmandu, Nepal.
