Sanvi Energy Limited (NEPSE: SANVI) is a hydroelectric power generation company that develops and operates small-scale run-of-the-river hydropower projects in Nepal. The company operates the 7.6 MW Jogmai Khola Small Hydroelectric Project (JKSHEP) located in Ilam district, which commenced commercial operations in May 2017. Sanvi Energy is also developing the 5.2 MW Jogmai Cascade Hydroelectric Project (JCHEP), a cascade run-of-the-river scheme positioned downstream of JKSHEP in the same district. The company generates electricity through run-of-river schemes, which have minimal environmental impact. Power from the Jogmai Khola project is sold to Nepal Electricity Authority under a 30-year power purchase agreement with a tariff of Rs 4.80 per kWh during the wet season and Rs 8.40 per kWh during the dry season, with 3% annual escalation. The company was incorporated in 2011 and is headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal.
