Shikhar Power Development Limited (NEPSE: SIPD) is a Nepal-based hydropower development company engaged in developing and operating run-of-river hydropower projects in the Gandaki Province. The company focuses on cascading hydropower development in the Bhim Khola river system in Baglung district. The company operates the 4.96 MW Upper Bhim Khola Hydropower Project, which commenced commercial operations on 9 March 2025. It is also developing the 6.05 MW Lower Bhim Khola Cascade Hydropower Project in the same river system, with an expected commercial operation date of June 2027. Both projects are run-of-river type facilities. Shikhar Power has secured a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for its combined capacity of 11.01 MW at tariffs of NPR 4.8 per kWh during the wet season and NPR 8.4 per kWh during the dry season, with 3% annual escalation. The company was incorporated in 2015 and is headquartered in Tokha, Kathmandu, Nepal.
