Sampada Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NEPSE: SMPDA) is a Class D national‑level microfinance institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. It provides a range of banking services to the rural unbanked population, including various saving schemes (personal, group, child, festival, special, insurance) and loan products such as housing, micro‑enterprise, emergency, seasonal, discipline and general loans. The company began formal microfinance operations on 14 July 2017 from its first branch in Gaindakot‑5, Nawalparasi East, after being incorporated on 2074/02/31 BS. Its objective is to improve livelihoods of poor families by offering collateral‑free group loans and promoting financial literacy. The institution is listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange under the microfinance sector.
