Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NEPSE: SWBBL) is a Class-D retail microfinance development bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. The institution provides sustainable financial services to disadvantaged and low-income communities across Nepal, with operations spanning 61 districts through 145 branch offices and 9 area offices covering Eastern, Central, Western, Mid-Western, and Far-Western regions. SWBBL offers microloans, micro-business loans, savings products (including Welfare Fund Saving, Personal Saving, Festival Saving, and Swabalamban Saving), and micro-insurance services. As of mid-2026, the company serves approximately 272,000 active clients with over 146,000 active borrowers. The company was incorporated on October 5, 2001 with operations commencing on January 14, 2002, and is headquartered in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal.
