Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Limited

Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited (NEPSE: UHEWA) is a hydroelectric power development company operating in Nepal. The company operates the Upper Hewa Khola Small Hydropower Project, an 8.5 MW run-of-river installation located on the Hewa Khola river in Sankhuwasabha district, Koshi Province. The project features a net head of 236 meters and design discharge of 4.2 m³/s, generating approximately 46.3 GWh of electricity annually. The project achieved commercial operation on April 2, 2022, and operates under a long-term power purchase agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on a 30-year term from the date of commercial operation. The company was incorporated on March 13, 2012, converted to a public limited company on June 6, 2018, and listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange under the Hydro Power sector on August 10, 2022. It is headquartered in Anamnagar, Kathmandu, Nepal.
