Yambaling Hydropower Limited

Yambaling Hydropower Limited (NEPSE: YMHL) is developing the 7.27 MW Yambaling Khola Hydropower Project, a run‑of‑river scheme located in Gumba VDC, Sindhupalchok district of the Central Development Region, Nepal. The project draws water from the Yambaling Khola river and has a gross head of 798 m. It is financed at a debt‑to‑equity ratio of 70:30 with a budgeted cost of NPR 1,200 million, and is expected to generate about 38 GWh annually with a plant load factor of roughly 59 %. The developer has signed a power purchase agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority and the required commercial operation date is set for 16 Falgun 2078. The company was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Jwagal‑10, Lalitpur, Nepal.
